Who are we?

HEVN is a small, family owned boutique with a strict avant-garde aesthetic. HEVN is curated in pursuit of the beautiful, special, raw and elegant, with the best of avant-garde designers from all over the world. Mostly in a monochrome palette.

HEVN was founded in 2013 by Maia and Knut, and we opened the doors to our first shop on February 26 2014.

We are more interested in fabrics, structure, texture and cuts, than by colors or patterns, because it builds depth.

We call the aesthetics of HEVN nordic noir; clean, raw, sophisticated individualism.

 

At HEVN we take pride in finding designers with a clear focus on a sustainable and ethical production. Where possible, all leather will be 100% bi-products from the food industry or wastage of commercial material.

HEVN will never sell fur from any other animals than sheep, cow, horse or goat - animals used in the food industry. We are even on the Fur Free Fashion list of The Norwegian Animal Protection Alliance (Dyrevernalliansen).

At the moment our designers have their collections made in the EU, Japan, Russia or Bali, Indonesia. Everything is made in workplaces that protects their employees' health and safety and basic human rights.

Where are we?

Our shop is located in the downtown area of Oslo, between Grünerløkka and Karl Johans gate, in an area with lots of great bars, restaurants and specialty shops. The shop is approx 6-7 minutes walk from the Oslo Central Station. The closest bus stop is Jakob Kirke, which is a 1 minute walk from the shop. The nearest tram stop is Nybrua, which is a 3 minute walk from the shop.
