LEON EMANUEL BLANCK FW21 "SPILLED"

The FW21 "SPILLED" collection from Leon Emanuel Blanck is based around the ERSATZ series of artworks created by Blanck in 2019 about the artificiality of our lives.

Glass coated down coats with coloursways reminiscent of leaking oil. Multilayered silks give an idea of blurry views of open eyes underwater. Hand painted wild python and alligator jackets stand against transparent polyeutherane parkas playing with the idea of natural versus synthetic. Latex coated baby camel wools, waxed corduroy blazers and distressed horse and lama skins emphasize the idea of perished animals through contamination.
