The outer layer, which is attached with buttons, can be detatched for an easier look. The buttoned belt loops can be used with both looks. Side pockets and buttoned back pockets ensure ample storage.

Although this style does not have an elastic waist, it does come with the essential aspect of every Yohji Yamamoto trouser – the internal drawstring. This is not only a convenient sizing feature, it it also an important aspect of the intended scrunched waist-look.
