Rick Owens has been doing the Kiss Platform boots for several seasons, but his incarnation for the 2020 Performa precollection is really something special.

These goat kiss 45 boots feature an elastic ankle top, a 12.5 cm heel, a long goat fur surface, a thick front platform, elastic panels on both sides, and a pull tab on the back.

These boots may look difficult to wear, but the look is deceiving: Due to the high platform height in the front, there is very little height difference between the front and the heel. In fact, the foot rests almost flat in the boot.

These can be walked in for hours on end without causing any fatigue. The long goat fur, which moves beautifully while the shoes are in motion, is harvested from Mongolian goats. All furs and leathers used by Rick Owens adhere to strict standards of sustainability and animal welfare.
